okay, I've officially entered the twilight zone...

I've not had ANY money for the past three weeks, seriously, none. for about two weeks I was living off the $100 my mum lent me when she thought I only had around $300 (when in actual fact I had zero bucks). the reason?? for the most part is I was away and then sick, so I hardly got any money from work, and then when I DID work a solid two weeks, I forgot to put my pay slip in, so no pay for over a month (cause it takes ten working days for my pay to clear after I've put the pay slip in) and then centrelink (social security) decided to stop paying me because they decided I earn too much...

now, HERE'S where the twilight zone comes in...

this morning at work I decided to check my bank balance over the net...
so I open up my bank's site, log in, and suddenly see that I have an available balance of $290+ dollars...

I was like, WHAT?!?!

thinking about it, I thought "okay, I told glen last night that I had no money so he might have told mum and dad and they put the money there..." because all the other money I'm expecting to get (about four paycheques) won't clear until next friday...

I go to an atm at about three as I'm leaving uni and get out forty dollars so I can have some food and catch a cab home (because it was bucketting, and I mean BUCKETTING down) I end up walking home in the rain though, no umbrella or anything (I was sooooooo soaked, I've probably got mild pnemonia now...) so I still have the forty dollars...

so I have that tentative theory abot my parents all day, and when I get home, I appear to have my theory confirmed with a note on the kitchen table from one of my flatmates saying my dad had called and he'd put money in my account...

apparently problem solvered...

So I go to sleep in the warm to hopefully stave off sickness, I wake up and call my dad about three hours later...

He says yes he gave my brother $100 to put into my bank account, and glen went to get $50 he was owed form a friend to give me some money... all well and good but that doesn't explain $290+...

and then I'm talking to my mum over the phone and she says that glen didn't leave the house utnil about 3:30pm this arvo... but I had $290+ in my account at around midday...

so now I check my bank balance and I've got $350+ available...

WHAT THE..?!?!?!??!!?!??!?!?!?
